Flurry + Stance Weapon
Just so i can work out the math to the damage i'll produce.
Flurry = +33% Attack Speed , 25% Less Damage
If i use a stance weapon, +15% damage while in stance, will the 15% be added to the damage before or after flurry. Because if i work out +15% of the damage ill get from flurry, and flurry worked out with damage+15% theyre different.
Just want to know what im working with here and i have not seen this posted before.
Simply, will stance axe be added to damage before stance or damage after stance.

Doesn't matter here - it's a mathematical equation either way with the same net result. Addition/subtraction change it, but this is all multiplication.
ie dmg dps 1.33 * .75 *1.15 = 1.33 *1.15 *.75
note that 1.33 * .75 is a little less than 1..
if they truly knocked down the attack speed from 50% to what the text says it's actually a tiny little less DPS, but you're getting the adrenaline
someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's it in a nutshell. there use to be a nice little 12.5% gain from flurry but that was based on an actual 50% quicker..

the first thread in that post is flawed, no one cares if flurry does more damage than just attacking.
the thing is, compared to other attack speed increasers it just doesnt measure up.

Flurry is bad just horrible for pvp. 5 energy for 5 seconds is bad. Its very hard to maintain but a zealous might help out. Even if it was zealous still a bad idea. Can't really spike with it either. Zealous is if you hit and you will miss.. A Lot.

What do you mean you can't spike with it? The attack skill damage is not affected, so your final thrust still does 60 damage. Enchant damage doesn't change, so your conjure still does it's amount. Overall, frenzy is better in pvp, yes, but only up to the moment that you get targeted. Then, a good air spiker can probably slip in 300 points of damage before frenzy ends or you cancel it with sprint. And in PvE there's just no contest. If you're on the front lines, there is no reason to take double damage.

Umm its -25% dmg. You get a +15% stance weapon and with frenzy its +15% no negative reduction and 33% faster. I don't use final thrust. I use axe or hammer. Flurry is bad in pvp. I didn't mention pve. I said pvp. -25% dmg is A LOT. Whether you recognize that or not it is a lot. So instead of getting a +15% boost you are getting a -10% dmg reduction.I did not count the increased attack rate because both have it. 300 points of dmg? Frenzy is always a risk but its a safe one for the most part. Until people start targeting warriors 2nd or 1st take frenzy. And NO you can't spike with it. 5 energy for 5 seconds is crap. Sure warrior skills aren't much energy but unless thats the only energy skill you will run I would not run it.
